The Walk
We are going to help you enjoy walks again! When using tools like the E Collar and prong collar (check out this blog for more details on the tools we use), we can be more precise about expectations on the walk - no more pulling you all over the place. We are going to help you look forward to walking your dog!

Place Command
Does your dog have difficulty settling in your home or when guests come over? Enter the place command! Think of it like an “off switch.” Eating dinner and don’t want your dog begging for your food? Place command. Want your dog to be more relaxed before a walk? Place command. We will teach your dog all about this command and help you continue it back at home.

Off-Leash Fun
Do you want to enjoy off-leash adventures with your dog? We've got you covered! During your dog's stay with us, we will be teaching the language of the E Collar, which helps us teach a non-negotiable recall - no more yelling at your dog to come back when called. We have all been there, which is so frustrating - and dangerous! Using tools like the E Collar gives us a safety net to enjoy those off-leash adventures!

Polite at thresholds
We will teach your dog how to slow down at thresholds (front door, kennel, getting in and out of the car, etc.) - this is a small thing that will make a big difference on walks and at other times throughout your day.

Outings
We love taking dogs on outings! It’s a great way to work on all the skills your dog will learn and practice them in the real world.

I drove 10hrs round trip to get Nairobi to Walking Dog Training. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. Bethany's services are worth every cent. Where do I even begin? Investing in Bethany’s board and train program has been the best decision I have made for my pup, Enzo, and I!
We were dealing with some reactivity stemming from nervousness and excitement and some overall pushy/sassy behavior. By the midway session I instantly noticed massive improvements in Enzo’s leash walking skills, less reactivity and fearfulness to the world, and he was overall more engaged and confident, and in a calmer state of mind. I was able to ask copious amount of questions and she was always really warm and receptive.
It’s since been 4 months since Enzo’s pick-up and I am completely over the moon about his progress! I am now able to take him on multiple outings in a day and we have received so many compliments on how well-behaved he is. My biggest goal with my dog is to have a strong relationship in which he fully trusts in me and we get to enjoy and do life together - Bethany has given us a wonderful head start and I’m so grateful for her! Our bond is stronger and better for it.

Bethany is incredible at what she does. We left our 6 month old Dogo Argentino, Gin, with her for a two week board and train. Gin had issues with reactivity while on walks, to people, to other dogs, had a very hard time traveling in the car, whined a lot, and wouldn't let us touch her nails. In only two weeks, she has completely transformed into the most calm and easygoing puppy.
I can't imagine what our lives would have been like if we hadn't taken her to Bethany and she continued to grow into an 80lb dog. Regardless of what your puppy or dog is dealing with, Bethany will figure it out, correct it, and make sure you have the training and tools you need for continued success. She also posts the most amazing photos and stories on Instagram while she has your dog, so you can check in every day of the two weeks, and she's fabulous with communication. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Bethany at Walking Dog Training is! I was really nervous to let her go for 2 weeks, but it was by far the best decision I made with her. Bethany worked wonders with my crazy puppy! She made it a point to take her places that are full of distractions to work towards our specific goals, and kept me in the loop with her progress the whole time!
Since being home, we have done a lot of off-leash walking around distractions, and she has been amazing in public. Bethany has also been really communicative, checking in on us and always reminding me that I have her as a resource if I have any questions or run into any issues. Also, THE PICTURES!! I can’t get over how perfectly Bethany captured her personality and now I have then framed everywhere!
